The Goal

For this repeat client, their home is used as a central gathering place for their family and their kids’ friends with the kitchen needing to support a lot of activity. The priority was creating a space that could handle everyday use while still feeling clean and well-designed.

Before & After

The Approach

We centered the design around a large island to anchor the space—something that could handle meals, homework, and constant traffic without feeling crowded.

From there, we focused on layout, storage, and appliance integration to make the kitchen highly functional while keeping the overall look simple and cohesive.

Because we had worked together before, communication stayed easy and decisions moved quickly, which helped keep the project efficient from start to finish.

The Result

A kitchen that works as the true hub of the home—open, durable, and built to handle real day-to-day use.

It’s a space that looks clean and elevated, but more importantly, functions exactly how the family needs it to.

“We worked with Top Drawer Construction last year for our master bathroom remodel and were so impressed that we had them back this year for our full kitchen renovation. Teague and his team truly are top-notch and I wholeheartedly recommend them for any project—they are thorough, thoughtful, communicative, and all-around a pleasure to work with. 5 stars, for sure!” —Virgina
